I am a fifty-something college math instructor living in Nashville, Tennessee who enjoys exciting travel. I prefer active adventure-type trips and usually “do it myself” if at all possible rather than joining organized tours. In years past I have made a couple of three-year trips around the world and have organized and led volcano safaris in Africa. Although many of my trips are solo efforts, I also travel with my wife, who is somewhat less into “adventure” mode in recent years but has made extremely adventurous trips in the past. The main propose of this blog is to allow friends and relatives to keep up with our travels.
The theme photo above is of Hornbjarg on the Hornstrandir Peninsula in NW Iceland as it was in summer 1994.
Good luck; safe trip; keep in touch
